SliTaz Team proudly announced that the latest version of SliTaz distribution has been released with code name, Slitaz Cooking. Launching of this version includes bug-fix and new features addition. SliTaz Cooking has the ability to boot from the Internet using gPXE projecy, similar with network boot loader. It also includes a multimedia player, MPlayer, Notecase (Note Manager Application) and support build-in the XFS file system in the Linux Kernel.

SliTaz is minimalist in size (28.6 MB ISO Image), extremely fast and light in performance. These distributions do not need any hard drive to run it. SliTaz can run and operated in a flash disk or as a LiveCD. Not only that, Linux SliTaz has been developed to run various applications with good display effect and also can be used as a web-server.
